Morgan Wallen is giving back.
The country music superstar donated $500,000 to the Red Cross through the organization. morgan warren foundation. The donations will be used to support those affected by the extensive damage caused by Hurricane Helen.
“We cannot thank Morgan Wallen enough for his heart and his generous $500,000 donation that will impact local support in areas affected by Hurricane Helen, including his beloved East Tennessee. said Trevor Riggin, Red Cross national humanitarian director. shared in a statement.
The “Last Night” singer grew up in Tennessee and graduated from Gibbs High School in Knox County. This isn't the first time the star has given back to the community that raised him, as he donated $140,000 to the Gibbs Youth Sports Program to renovate Ruritan Park earlier this year.

Warren left East Tennessee after finding success as a country star in Nashville, but he never forgot his roots. In an Instagram Story posted Sunday, Warren shared updates on her family's well-being and sent “prayers” to those who weren't as lucky.
“My family in East Tennessee is safe, but I know many others there and across multiple states are completely devastated. All my prayers tonight are for those people. ,” Warren wrote. “That hill, that mountain for crying out loud, means so much to me in so many ways. It takes a tremendous amount of effort, but I stay in touch with my team and others, I'm looking for ways to help.”

Warren founded the Morgan Wallen Foundation in 2021 with the goal of giving children around the world access to the things that helped shape him as a person, including sports and music. The foundation is also committed to being there for communities in moments of crisis.

The Foundation receives funds through donations through its website. But most of that money comes from Warren himself, who donates $3 to the foundation for every concert ticket he sells.
