Fortnite maker accuses Samsung and Google of colluding to block app store competitors

Fortnite maker Epic Games filed a lawsuit Monday accusing Google and Samsung, the world's largest Android maker, of colluding to block third-party competitors from the Google Play Store. The lawsuit, filed in federal court in California, alleges that Samsung's “autoblocker” feature illegally prevents users from downloading apps from anywhere other than the Google Play Store or Samsung's Galaxy Store on Android devices. The company claims that this violates U.S. antitrust laws.
