NBA Media Day is the equivalent of the first day of school. Take photos, set expectations, formally meet your new teammates, and get ready to jump into training camp for the new season.
There were plenty of stories, both serious and silly, as each team around the league had media day Monday ahead of the 2024-2025 season. Joel Embiid and Masai Ujiri paid emotional tributes to Dikembe Mutombo. LeBron and Bronny are already having a father-son argument. Chris Paul and Gregg Popovich reflected on their 20 years of disdain for each other. The Bulls looked sad and Giannis Antetokounmpo remained upset as he talked about his wedding night.
One of the most memorable things in the media is often seeing old players in new uniforms, especially this year when there was so much player movement during the offseason. For example, Klay Thompson doesn't look good unless he's wearing a Warriors jersey. There were many other places where it came from.
