After Tuesday's vice presidential debate concluded, Fox News senior network political contributor Britt Hume first talked about debate moderators Norah O'Donnell and Margaret Brennan with Sen. J.D. Vance, R-S.C. He criticized the US government for portraying it as being in cahoots with the US state (Ohio). Republican vice presidential candidate.
Hume also praised Vance for outperforming his opponent, Democratic vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minnesota).
“Well, the host was obnoxious,” he said. “And it made me feel like it was three-on-one with Vance. Vance was fine. He said his skills as a debater and speaker seemed to have been somewhat honed by months of campaigning.” And at such a young age, he seemed to be surrounding poor Governor Walz in terms of policy knowledge, but as you say, Brett, he didn't seem like a great night. He got better as the night went on. But if you read the discussion on the issue, it wasn't close.”
