Hurricane Helen shook many towns and cities in the six states it hit. Thousands of people were left homeless as a result of this Category 4 hurricane.
Among the victims is legendary PGA Tour veteran and fan favorite John Daly.

Daley tried to find positives in the situation.
“I'm really happy that everyone's healthy. That's the most important thing,” Daly said in an exclusive interview with the PGA Tour.
“You have to understand that it will happen, but not like this. I never thought it would be this bad… When you lose something like that, you miss the memories.”

Thankfully, this house was not Daly's daily residence. He lives primarily in Dardanelle, Arkansas, near where the two-time major champion grew up.
Hurricane Helen was one of the most devastating natural disasters in the United States. At least 182 people have died in six states, and more than 1.2 million people are still without power nearly a week after the storm struck, according to the state. CNN.com.
“I hope everyone is safe and able to return home,” Daly said. “My heart just goes out to you all.”
Despite losing his home, the former Arkansas Razorback plans to compete in the Constellation Furyk & Friends Tournament at Timicuana Country Club, a Champions Tour event in Jacksonville, Florida.
Daley wasn't the only golfer affected by the storm.
Augusta National, one of America's most famous golf courses, and the city of Augusta, Georgia, were also severely damaged. The course will focus on supporting communities as they all work to clean up the damage, the statement said.
