Trump holds 2-point lead over Harris in battleground Michigan: Survey

A new poll shows former President Trump leading Vice President Harris by 2.2 percentage points in the battleground state of Michigan.

In the survey,Released on Wednesday The Trafalgar Group asked voters in the Great Lakes state who they would choose if an election were held tomorrow. Trump's approval rating was 46.9%, while Harris's approval rating was 44.7%.

According to the opinion poll, nearly 5% said they were “undecided” and 3.5% said they were “other.”

Of the survey respondents, 35.9% were Democrats, 31.5% were Republicans, and 32.6% were independents.

The majority, 77 percent, were 40 years of age or older, and 74.6 percent were white. According to the survey, 14.6% of Black voters, just under 6% of Asian and Hispanic voters, and about 5% identified as “other.”

According to Hill/Decision Desk's polling index, Democratic candidates hold a razor-thin lead over Trump in battleground states of less than 1 percentage point, compared to 48.4 percent support for Republican candidates. The percentage is 47.9%.

Respondents to the Trafalgar survey also expressed their support for Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) and Rep. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.), who are running to replace retiring Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.). He was also asked to give his opinion on the recent Senate race. )

When asked who they would support if an election were held tomorrow, 47.4% supported Slotkin and 47% were loyal to Mr. Rogers. According to the opinion poll, approximately 5.5% said they were undecided.

The survey was conducted from September 28th to 30th and had a 95 percent confidence rate and a margin of error of 2.9 percent. Michigan is a battleground state that could determine the outcome of the 2024 presidential election.
