To no one's surprise, corporate media has engaged in an all-out propaganda campaign to bury the credible bombshell news that Kamala Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend. There is.
On Wednesday, daily mail published an article containing statements from three friends of the alleged victims, as well as travel documents and photographs supporting their claims. Here's the argument: In 2012, while attending the Cannes Film Festival, Emhoff slapped his then-girlfriend so hard that she completely spun around. Two of the alleged victim's friends said they were informed of the abuse at the time. The third person found out about it in 2018.
At this time, the identities of the alleged victim and his three friends are not being released for reasons that are understandable to everyone. This is political dynamite that could hurt Democratic presidential candidates in the weeks before the election. If these people come forward, the corporate media will do everything in their power to obliterate their lives and reputations. Democrats are always protected at all costs by the media.
But at this point, not only is the fake media ignoring credible allegations of physical abuse by the man who could become the first First Gentleman in American history, but the media is plowing through puff after puff. They are going even further to cover up this story by creating articles. It makes Emhoff look like some kind of folk hero.
Emhoff also seems to be a good fit for the moment. In contrast to the various septuagenarians on the national stage, he is a youthful, sharply focused man who is often described as “awesome.” I spoke to Tricia Gronewik, 44, a credit union marketing analyst who attended the San Antonio rally. “I was really struck by how genuine Doug was,” she said. “It doesn't seem fake or forced, like good old J.D. Vance.'' Gronevik is a fifth-generation Texan who grew up on a ranch. She thought Emhoff was worthy of being First Gentleman. “We need to express a new version of masculinity,” she says. “I'm really tired of the toxic bullshit of alpha males. Being a country girl in South Texas…I grew up hearing a lot of misogynistic shit at deer camp. Here's to you, bully. It's refreshing to have a guy who doesn't beat you up and is supportive.'' Emhoff's “super cool” music sense “made me love him even more,” she added. “I'm a big New Order fan too. The Cure is my favorite band, so I would die if he was a Cure fan.”
