Key down-ballot races in today's early voting states
There is one battleground state in Connecticut.
- 5th District of Connecticut: Rep. Jahana Hayes has represented the longtime Democratic-held district since 2019, which includes some of the state's reddest areas, including Wolcott, Thomaston and Watertown counties. Vote by mail
Connecticut began accepting absentee voting on Friday. Applicants must provide a reason for receiving a ballot. Residents must receive their ballot applications by Nov. 4, and their ballots must be delivered to county officials by Nov. 5.

Early voting in Connecticut begins October 21st and continues through November 3rd.

Connecticut residents can register to vote online or by mail until October 18th. You can register in person during early voting and any time on Election Day.
