Shares of electric vehicle charging company EVgo Inc. rose by the most in more than three years after the company secured a major loan deal from the U.S. government. Meanwhile, Helen's victims are struggling in the face of meager FEMA aid.
bloomberg report Los Angeles-based EVgo Inc. announced Thursday that it has received up to $1.05 billion in conditional loan guarantees from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in a major boost to its expansion plans. The company's stock price soared 64% on the news, marking its biggest single-day gain in more than three years.
EVgo is one of the leading providers of public fast-charging services for EVs, operating more than 850 fast-charging locations in more than 60 metropolitan areas in 34 states. The company has established partnerships with automakers, fleet and rideshare operators, retail hosts, and public bodies to further expand its network and accelerate the adoption of EVs.
Helen's victims are suffering as the Biden-Harris administration continues to promote EVs that Americans don't want. Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) recently told Breitbart News that “in a Biden-Harris administration, illegal immigrants come first and Americans come last.”
Tiffany continued:
“The Mallorcans and their people do not believe in America's greatness and will do anything to undermine American sovereignty. The best way they will do that is by violating our borders.” said Tiffany.
Tiffany said Wisconsin is feeling the effects of Biden's migration with increased crime, traffic fatalities and inflation from rising prices. Factories are also closing and jobs are moving to other states.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) recently sent a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas regarding FEMA's response to Helen. As Breitbart News reported:
“My office has reported and further confirmed that hundreds, if not thousands, of military personnel have been sent to North Carolina by the Department of Defense and are waiting for FEMA without doing anything.” Gates wrote.
“We have confirmed that FEMA personnel are at the hotel 24 hours a day awaiting orders. “Pre-disaster aid from FEMA was withheld, further exacerbating the emergency situation,” he added.
Gaetz slammed Mayorkas' comments Thursday, in which he said FEMA “doesn't have enough money to get us through” hurricane season.
“This news comes after FEMA spent hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars on immigrants due to border czar Kamala Harris' open borders instead of prioritizing funding to Americans affected by disasters. ” Gates wrote. “This is also public. [knowledge] NGOs are using FEMA funds to purchase airline tickets for immigrants. ”
