People stranded in western North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helen are receiving help from an amazing group of supporters.
Some groups are using mules to transport goods into isolated areas, bringing all kinds of desperately needed goods and equipment into mountainous areas where roads are completely cut off and it is nearly impossible to get out. 10 news reported on tuesday.
The folks at Mountain Mule Packer Ranch… work It is difficult to seek help from residents through trusted allies.
on video Posted On Friday, mules could be seen slowly climbing the hill on their way to Laurel Ridge to deliver water and other supplies to families.
“We the people will help!” the ranch said in a social media post.
