Rapper and Social Media Star Lucas Coly Dies at 27

Rapper and social media personality Lucas Cory has died at the age of 27, his manager and friends announced.

According to FOX News, the manager left a heartfelt message to fans about Cory's death on his Instagram account.

“Rest in peace @iamlucascoly, I love you. My heart is torn in half. Please wait there,” he wrote with just a heart emoji in the caption, before editing the post. I did.

The post read: “Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here. There's a hole in my heart right now, Lucas.”

The manager went on to write: “We always talked about our struggles, but we always smiled at our fans. So many people hurt us over and over again, but we had each other.” . I don't know what to do now. If I told you to stop, I'd be a hypocrite and I'd go and do the same thing.”

The cause of death has not been made public, but the manager also included a hashtag that sparked speculation that Cory committed suicide. The hashtag “#checkonyourfriends” was also removed.

Cory first came to the attention of the rap community about 10 years ago with a post on the video social media site Vine.

His most popular rap is “I Just Wanna.”

The young rapper made waves in the rap scene in 2017 when he started dating up-and-coming rapper Amber H, and the two eventually started a popular Youtube channel together.

The late rapper's manager Posted She sent a message on Facebook asking fans to pray for Amber and said she would make an official announcement when she was ready. But he also deleted that message.
Cory was born in France to a German father and an African mother and immigrated to the United States in 2005 when Cory was eight years old. He spoke French fluently and often added French lyrics to his songs.
