Keanu Reeves is taking a whirlwind new career path.
The longtime actor made his pro racing debut Saturday at the Toyota GR Cup at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
However, it wasn't all fun and games. The 60-year-old spun during the race.

Reeves' car spun into the grass on the exit of Turn 9 a little over half way through the 45-minute race. He made his best impression on the Matrix and avoided collisions and injuries.
The Toyota GR Cup is a Toyota-spec racing series and a support series for this weekend's sports car event, the Indy 8 Hours. He has his second race scheduled for Sunday.

Reeves is driving the No. 92 BRZRKR promoting his graphic novel “The Book of Elsewhere.” He is teammates with “Dude Perfect” Cody Jones.
Reeves qualified 31st out of 35 cars on the course and finished 25th. At one point, it rose to 21st place.

Reeves has racing experience having previously competed in the Toyota Grand Prix, a celebrity race in Long Beach. Reeves won this event in 2009.

He is scheduled to attend the 30th anniversary screening of Speed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, along with co-star Sandra Bullock.
