Love managed to steal the ball just as he was down for a safety. It worked out perfectly for LA, who returned an interception and scored a touchdown to take the lead.
It's easy to think about how former Packers quarterback Brett Favre's wire-stretching behavior was often great, but also sometimes terrible. To me, this play resembles something Will Leavis would do. It's about trying too hard in a no-win situation and inadvertently making yourself look like a fool in the process.
Love can do wonders to create something out of nothing, but it can also end badly. Mark this in a later column.
