Madonna honors difficult bond with late brother in touching tribute: ‘We always found each other again’

Madonna has paid a touching tribute to her brother Christopher Ciccone, who passed away on Friday.

His representative confirmed the news to Fox News Digital, saying he passed away “peacefully” from cancer on October 4. He was “surrounded by love” by his husband Ray Tucker and loved ones.

Madonna has shared multiple photos of herself with her brother over the years on her Instagram, beginning with the caption, “My brother Christopher has passed away.”

“He was the closest person to me for a long time. [It’s] It's hard to explain our bond,” she continued, “but it was born out of an understanding that we were different and that society would be hard on those of us who didn't conform to the status quo. .”
