Deshaun Watson reached a new milestone Wednesday night with reports that he has reached a settlement in his latest lawsuit for sexual assault and battery. As a result of the settlement, no formal charges will be filed against Watson, meaning he will not be punished by the league.

As our JP Acosta wrote on Tuesday, it's time for the Browns to bench Watson. This guy stinks in every way.
Despite all of this, the Browns are still clinging to Watson as the starter for some reason. Never mind that he couldn't control Kevin Stefanski's offense, played worse than any Browns QB since 2000, and turned a team with playoff hopes into a pumpkin. They're riding lemons in this car until the engine explodes. The people who bought it won't admit they spent $230 million on lemons.
If you're a Browns fan looking for a silver lining, I think it's that if he continues to produce at this same pace, Watson should have more touchdowns than lawsuit settlements by the end of the season. Of course, this assumes that no more women come forward, which is always an obvious possibility.
