Harris said on a left-leaning talk show that she wouldn't change anything from President Joe Biden's term in office, despite the slump in approval during his third year in office.
The host panel asked the 2024 Democratic nominee if he would have done anything “different” than Biden.
“I can't think of any decisions that affected me that I've participated in,” Harris said.

The Trump campaign used Harris' comments to denounce disastrous decisions made during the administration, sparking angry reactions on social media.

Harris has been in Washington since 2017, trying to position herself as a transformational candidate during her campaigns, first as a California senator and then as vice president.
“We're obviously different people and we have a lot of life experiences in common, including how we feel about our families and our parents,” Harris said of Biden. “But we are also different people, and I bring that sensibility to my leadership.”
Later in the interview, Harris reiterated her pledge to have Republicans in her cabinet. “Because I’m not like that, and I don’t feel burdened by letting my pride get in the way of good ideas.”
In another question, Harris claimed that former Arizona Sen. John McCain endorsed her for president, even though the 2008 Republican nominee died in 2018.
