Last NFL season, Jets fans rejoiced when prominent quarterback Aaron Rodgers left Wisconsin for New York, but after the first three games, Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon and missed the rest of the season. Missed the season.
But now, a healed Rodgers is ready to take on the 2024 season, but it doesn't seem like he's actually ready.
“The Jets can't score. Aaron Rodgers looks like a shell of himself. He's throwing interceptions. He cost the Jets games. [last Sunday]” says Jason Whitlock.
what happened? Has Rodgers' age finally caught up with him? After all, he is the oldest player in the NFL. Or did an Achilles injury derail his career?
Jason says it's something entirely different that's holding Aaron Rodgers back.

“Football and the quarterback position shouldn't be a sideline, and that's what Aaron Rodgers brought to his football career,” Jason says. “The guy spent the offseason thinking about running for vice president at RFK. He didn't participate in the mandatory OTAs and spent the offseason in Egypt. [Organized Team Activities]”
“He takes this game for granted and this is not going to be a repeat of Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers in 2015,” he asserts.
But Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets aren't the only failures in 2024, according to Jason.
