Election board in crucial swing state sued over dispute on who will monitor election results

Fulton County, Georgia, sued the Georgia State Board of Elections this week in the latest development in a battle between the two agencies over how to monitor and ensure the integrity of the November election.

The county commission filed a lawsuit Monday asking a judge to force Fulton County to accept and pay for additional monitors the state commission has in place for the 2024 election, the Associated Press reported. But the county and state election board have been unable to reach an agreement.
