EPA Employees Seeking Refuge In Other Agencies As Possible Trump Return Looms

Employees at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are being transferred to other government agencies in anticipation of former President Donald Trump's possible re-election, E&E News reports.

EPA workers looking for jobs at 'safer' government agencies like Department of Energy and Department of Commerce, E&E News reported. Many federal employees are “very concerned” they could lose their jobs or be “particularly targeted” by the Trump administration if he returns to the Oval Office.

“People are worried, but anyone with half a brain has an existential fear for the security of our democracy,” a National Science Foundation official told E&E News.
