“Science Guy” Bill Nye says on MSNBC's “Jose Díaz Balart Report” that climate change is contributing to more severe hurricanes and that the right has “no plan” and people are turning to Democrats. He said he should vote for.
“When it comes to things like space exploration, I try my best to be political, but not partisan,” Nye said. Okay, so when I'm on MSNBC, I'm happy to be here, and I'm talking to like-minded people in general, young people in your world, in your family. This is what it's all about when you have young voters, as we often say, the other side doesn't have a plan to deal with climate change and they don't have a plan to deal with these kinds of issues in the long term. Encourage people to vote. What can I do about climate change? It would be really good if we talked about it in relation to a big storm like this. It's all about voting. ”
Díaz-Balart said: “How much of an impact do you see climate change having?” All these explanations you’ve given us, to what extent do you think climate change is part of it?”
Nye said. “Folks, there's no question about it. Look at climate science, everyone's been studying this for years. Everyone's commenting on how warm the ocean is around the Florida peninsula. Scientific papers have been written about how this warm ocean water is what causes the storms and allows them to intensify so quickly.
