A tree fell on a Fox Weather team's car Wednesday night while covering the aftermath of Hurricane Milton in Florida.
FOX Weather Correspondent Robert Ray share Among the viewers, it was said that a pine tree fell on the crew's car immediately after finishing the live report.
“The whole tree stopped and fell on top of the car,” Ray said. “I had just finished a live report showing the Manatee River just beyond this tree, and I got in my car and was looking at my phone, and all of a sudden, boom, the whole tree came down. Enter the vehicle. [cameraman] Lloyd. ”
He said crews did not capture the exact moment the tree fell.
Ray recalled the “slightly confusing” moment after the incident. He said crews would have to move from the area because other parts of the tree could also fall.
“As you can see, all these pine trees have fallen,” Ray said.
CNN anchor Anderson Cooper was hit by a flying object during a live broadcast Wednesday. He was also reporting from Bradenton when Milton brought 190 mph wind gusts and heavy rain.
