A ‘Surprise’ Trump Win in a Blue State ‘Possible’

James Blair, who heads the Trump campaign's political operations, said in an interview that it was “possible” that former President Donald Trump would score a “surprise” victory in traditionally blue states this election cycle. Ta. Breitbart News Saturday.

Breitbart News Saturday Host Matt Boyle asked Blair what he thought about “possible surprises” in states like Virginia, New Mexico, Minnesota, New York and New Jersey.

“I know President Trump has another event coming up at Madison Square Garden in New York City. I know that state is near and dear to his heart. We talked about that with him, and he mentioned New Jersey to us as well, which could be based on what we've seen so far. “Is there?” Boyle asked.

“I think there could be a surprise. It's a surprise for us, but it's not really a surprise for them, and that's the good thing about it,” Blair replied.

“Look, Virginia is really interesting. Obviously, the polls say it's not that close. But the reality is that Republicans are doing well in early voting in Virginia. That's a good early indicator of enthusiasm. We're really outperforming them. …Red House districts are at the top and blue House districts are at the bottom. That's a great sign. ,” he said, pointing to New Hampshire and citing recent polls that “really oversampled Democrats.”

[It] This is the final report result for 2020. But in reality, it oversampled Democrats by a fairly large margin, by about 7 or 8 points. And New Hampshire is really interesting because it's basically all election day voting. You must have a reason to vote absentee. There is no early voting. It is one of only a few states in the country like this. So what really matters is who finishes the election strong and who goes to the polls on Election Day,” he said of the Granite State.

There's a Muslim community and an Arab community there. Yes, you know, they cast a huge noncommittal vote in the primary, and apparently there's a growing momentum against Kamala that says, “No, we're not really coming back to you.” is. So I think there could be some surprises,” he said.

He said that while most of their attention is in seven key battleground states, the Trump campaign is “still keeping an eye on other states,” and that historically some states have He added that the resolution of the case has been extremely delayed.

“So in 2016, President Trump ended very strongly in the last few weeks and in some ways made progress. A similar trajectory started even earlier and he's closing very hard and pulling forward. So if we can keep this up, there's a good chance that some of the other states will move further in the board in the last days,” he predicted.
