Actresses Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek know this all too well, as a video of the two women having an awkward exchange just went viral last month. The incident occurred at the Balenciaga Ready to Wear spring fashion show in Paris.

In December 2023, it was announced that Kidman would become Balenciaga's brand ambassador.
Some fans online speculated that Kidman told Hayek “don't touch me” during the scuffle, but that's not clear or confirmed. Social media users were quick to take sides. Some believed that Hayek was wrong and should not have touched Kidman, while others suggested that Kidman's attitude was the problem.
