Saudi prince’s superyacht once owned by Trump crashes in dock

A $91 million superyacht used in a Bond movie and once owned by Donald Trump (dubbed the Trump Princess) was damaged when it crashed into the side of a Tunisian dock.

The luxury boat, now owned by Saudi Arabia's Prince Alwaleed bin Talal and equipped with its own onboard hospital, was wedged on the docks of a marina in Bizerte, Tunisia, after the crash on Friday. The Sun reported.

The 282-foot Kingdom 5-KR “couldn't stop in time and was stuck in the breakwater on the starboard side,” a witness said. Yacht report.

The bow of the ship collided with a stone dock, causing significant damage to the bottom or keel, also known as the hull. The quay wall was also damaged.

Witnesses said the ship also dropped its anchor and scraped the port before it hit the pier.

The ship was owned by the Sultan of Brunei before being owned by a Saudi prince, then by President Trump, and was named Trump Princess in 1988.

The ship was built for $100 million in 1980 at the request of Saudi billionaire and arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi, who named it Nabila, Yacht Report said.

The giant boat also featured in the 1983 James Bond film Never Say Never Again as the home base for Bond villain Maximilian Largo.

The superyacht can accommodate 22 guests and 31 crew members. It has 11 staterooms, six giant refrigerators, five decks, a huge pool, a movie theater, a hair salon, and a hospital with an operating room.

The boat can sail at a top speed of 20 knots and also has its own discotheque and library.

An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the incident.
