Munjaro shortage resolved, FDA shakes up weight loss market
Federal regulators announced that for the first time in nearly two years, shortages of Mounjaro and Zepbound have been resolved, shaking up what had been a booming market for weight-loss drugs. As a new battle looms over the highly popular drugs Ozempic and Wegoby, pharmacies that were selling off-brand copies of these drugs are stepping up a concerted effort to reverse the decision.
