Absurd Oregon DEI pushout proves woke HASN’T peaked

At last, the scourge of cisheterosexism no longer harms Oregon's pristine forests.

That's thanks to the removal of Mike Shaw, who was number two at the state Forestry Department.

What is his crime? The company reportedly “looks beyond gender and identity when recruiting to find only the most qualified candidates for the job.”

What a bold man!

Don't we all know that properly maintaining our forests has to take a (far) second place to respecting the tender feelings of gender-confused millennials and zoomers?

Megan Donecker, the Forest Service's DEI strategist, appears to have been the mastermind behind the prevention efforts.

She also claimed that six staff members who identify as gay do not feel “safe or comfortable” at work because they are unable to have “pronoun-based conversations” freely.

The pronoun convos is, of course, absolute condition Examples of successful forestry activities.

Not dendrological expertise, not a love of nature, not managerial and scientific skills.

Of course, the show's real sin was suggesting that the department, which has a budget of nearly $600 million, would focus more on things like trees than on DEI efforts.

And yes, it's funny to imagine a pink-haired mediocre like Donecker carefully plotting a Machiavellian subversion of the show because of pronouns.

It's so on-the-nose that no one would buy it even if it appeared in a satirical movie.

However, something very chilling is happening here. It means that Shaw was openly attacked precisely because he was trying to find out. qualified candidates.

So his critics They want to subsume the public interest into their own perverted ideological needs, perhaps putting Oregon's great forests at risk, and they don't feel comfortable admitting it openly. Not yet.

And if that's happening at the Forest Service, it's happening elsewhere in Oregon state government.

As long as these signals continue to emanate from Byzantine intermediaries in the public and private sectors, the awakening has not reached its peak.

Mike Shaw and others still in touch with reality need to ramp up the pressure until they win.
