Yes, Trump Should Confront the ‘Enemies from Within’

Former President Donald Trump has garnered mainstream media attention after saying he would take action against the country's “internal enemy” through the military if necessary.

Democrats are pretending to be shocked, but they shouldn't be. They used the military to siege the Capitol in 2021 and indicted Trump and his political allies on a variety of charges, all of which they say were to protect democracy.

In the words of Vice President Kamala Harris, President Trump's comments were twisted to mean that he intended to use the Justice Department “as a weapon against his political opponents,” and that “journalists, judges, [and] The same goes for “Other”.

Some people even proposedAbsurdly, Trump, who survived two assassination attempts, plans to “execute” a political opponent. Of course he doesn't.

But there are some real threats to democracy that President Trump must confront.

20 days left until election: Democrats plan their own insurrection. Guest Joel Pollack

The first is a network of activists who use political violence.

Radical leftist groups, backed by at least some elected Democrats, rioted against the incoming Trump administration in 2017 and organized riots in 2020, in 48 out of 50 major U.S. cities. Riots broke out in the city. Even the Democratic Party called out the National Guard in some places.

If radicals resort to violence again in an attempt to stop the Trump administration, they should be investigated and punished. And the government needs to do a better job of deterring them.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has never properly investigated Antifa or similar left-wing groups. And under President Joe Biden, the Department of Justice has – inexcusably – taken steps to determine who is behind the wave of anti-Semitic violence and to punish groups that violate Jewish civil rights. He shows no enthusiasm for doing so. They and their funders should be exposed and prosecuted.

Second, there are a huge number of prosecutors and politicians who have abused their power to target Mr. Trump and his supporters.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) lied to the public about classified information and fabricated the “Russian collusion” hoax. And he even violated the civil rights of witnesses and colleagues in the first impeachment inquiry. But he's on his way to becoming a California senator. He should be investigated.

So do Mr. Schiff's colleagues on the January 6th Commission, a one-sided show trial that Democrats used to smear President Trump.

Hiding behind parliamentary privilege, the committee violated basic principles of due process and slandered witnesses. More seriously, the commission destroyed video and documentary evidence without preserving it. In doing so, they violated the civil rights of Mr. Trump and the other January 6 defendants.

Third, there are left-wing organizations that have abused their tax-exempt status for decades while acting as pawns of the Democratic Party.

For example, Media Matters does not exist to correct the wrongs of conservative media, but rather to cancel and censor conservative voices, but operates as a 501(c)3 “charitable organization.” It does not operate the .

There are many groups called I participated A “shadow campaign” to ensure Trump cannot win in 2020. We need to expose them.

This is not a matter of suppressing ordinary political opposition or tit-for-tat. In fact, the well-funded and well-organized far left poses a threat to America's constitutional democracy. They need to be investigated and punished if necessary, but above all they need to be stopped.

That's why President Trump is right — unless he himself oversteps the limits of his constitutional authority, as his opponents have undoubtedly done.
