Vice President Kamala Harris told Fox News anchor Bret Baier that the president and vice president “must take responsibility” for “what happened” during their administration.
In an interview with Baier, Harris was asked about a Pennsylvania campaign ad in which she said she supported “taxpayer-funded gender reassignment of prisoners.”
Asked if she “still supports using tax dollars” to help prisoners and undocumented immigrants “transition to a different gender,” Harris said she would “follow the law,” as she did before Donald Trump. He added that the president had also followed the law.
When Baier pointed out that Trump had “never supported prison policy and did not perform sex reassignment surgery during his presidency,” Harris said that the president and vice president He said he needed to “take responsibility” for “what happened” during his administration.
“You have to take [responsibility] What happened in your administration,” Harris said.
Many people took to social media to point out that Harris failed to take responsibility for the failures of the Biden-Harris administration, including increased inflation, illegal immigration and violent crime.
“She said this about President Trump right after she claimed no responsibility for the past four years,” Town Hall columnist Derek Hunter said. I wrote In post.
“That's amazing.” Rep. Burgess Owens (R-Utah) I wrote In post. “Kamala Harris just admitted that she is responsible for 20 percent inflation, a decline in take-home pay, and two “new wars.”
Owens added that Harris “accepted” responsibility for “more than 10 million illegal immigrants” and a 4.5% “increase in violent crime.”
“On November 5th of this year, the American people will hold you accountable for everything, Kamala.” Rep. Richard Hudson (R-North Carolina) I wrote In post.
In her post, Hudson cited “record inflation,” “record illegal immigration,” and “record crime” as things that Harris needs to take responsibility for.
“New Trump ad has arrived,” said another. I wrote.
