Vice President Kamala Harris declined to say whether she had “any concerns” about President Joe Biden's physical fitness over the past three and a half years.
In an interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier, Baier referred to comments made by Harris that former President Donald Trump was “misguided” and “unstable,” and said Biden was “mentally unstable.” They were asked when they “first'' noticed that their abilities seemed to be declining.
“You call Donald Trump and you say he's misguided, he's unstable right now,” Baier said. “He's not feeling well. I'd say he's not mentally stable.”
“You've told a lot of interviewers that Joe Biden is working on his game. [he] He ran around in circles on his cane,” Baier added. “When did you first notice that President Biden's mental capacity seemed to be declining?”
“Joe Biden, I've seen it from the Oval Office to the Situation Room,” Harris responded. “And he has the judgment and experience to do exactly what he has done when making very important decisions on behalf of the American people.”
When Baier asked if she had any concerns, Harris interjected and pointed out that Biden was “not on the ballot.”
Baier went on to say that actor George Clooney “knew within minutes of speaking to President Biden at the fundraiser that this is not the same Joe Biden we saw on the debate stage.” He pointed out that he said.
“Donald Trump is on the ballot,” Harris interjected.
“I understand,” Baier added. “You saw him at least once a week for three and a half years. Did you have any concerns?”
Harris added that “the American people have concerns about Donald Trump.”
