Ana Kasparian of “The Young Turks” is notorious for preaching Democratic talking points, but her perspective seems to have changed since then.
Kasparian made this clear in a recent interview, explaining to Jillian Michaels that he left the left after recognizing the dangers of “way-ism.”
“Around March 2022, I was walking my dog. It wasn't pitch black yet, but the sun was starting to set. As I was walking my dog, I noticed something strange moving. I saw them, you know, they looked a little manic,” she explained.
“I knew they were probably homeless because their clothes were in tatters. I also knew they were probably up to something because of the twitchy look they had,” she continued. Ta. “As I bent down to pick up the dog's mess, one of the men grabbed my waist and he got an erection.”
“I didn't know what to do. I was scared. I didn't have a weapon. I had no way to protect myself. I didn't know how long it would last because there were two of us. I'm alone with my little dog. It was one of the scariest things ever.”
When she decided to open up about this on her show, she faced severe backlash. That included being called a “racist” despite never revealing the race of the man who committed the act.
“I'm starting to get these messages, and they're very harsh, and they're about how you're portraying the homeless community. 'Why did I end up like this? They're homeless. These are my neighbors and they need help,'” she told Michaels, adding, “That woke me up.”
Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report'' is thrilled that she has changed her mind.
“I always get so excited when someone wakes up, but it's interesting how something so personal can wake people up, like a drug-addicted homeless guy attacking you with a boner. . So we can say it's a net benefit,” he says.
