ABC News legal analyst Sunny Hostin told MSNBC's “The Beat” on Wednesday that Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris went into the “belly of the beast” during her interview on Fox News.
“People say she's been on Fox News. This is the first time she's been on Fox News. She's gone into the belly of the beast, she's gone into enemy territory,” Hostin said. I think that's because there are people who have been fed misinformation and disinformation over and over again on FOX News, which means the judge said this is entertainment, not fact or news. “
She continued, “So I think it's important that she did that to help people make decisions about who is worthy of being president of the United States.'' I think that's her response to pointing out that there's no disrespect to Bret Baier, but I interviewed him and he's one of our colleagues and that fact. I'm a little disappointed that I was a little bit disappointed.”
Hostin continued, “I watched a little bit of the panel after the interview, and one woman said she came in hot and also said she got angrier.''I thought he came in hot. It's this metaphor of an angry black woman. She wasn't angry. She was passionate. Passion doesn't equal anger.”
