“It's terrible. Everything about that stadium is terrible. I don't really like it. I'm glad it only happens once a year. I just have to go in there, do 1-11 and go home.”

Becton is scheduled to return to MetLife on Sunday when the Eagles take on the New York Giants.

The 25-year-old was selected by the Jets with the 11th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, but his career with the Jets didn't take off.

Becton played in 31 of the 67 games he was scheduled to play because of knee and ankle injuries. He was able to stay healthy last season, starting 16 games for the Jets, but struggled despite being healthy.

Becton, who played at left tackle last season, committed the second-most penalties in the NFL (12) and recorded 12.5 sacks.

None of Becton's injuries occurred on the much-discussed MetLife Stadium turf, but Becton had nothing positive to say about the venue.

“When you're on that turf and (then) you go to another turf, you can immediately see the difference. You can tell. It's a night and day difference on the turf. I feel like it's uplifting. A lot. There's something about that lawn that doesn't feel right. ”

Becton became a free agent this offseason, and the Eagles signed him to a one-year, $5.5 million contract. Becton has changed positions and is now the starting right guard. He hasn't committed a penalty this season, but has allowed three sacks per PFF.

During his time with the Jets, Becton said he always felt like the Jets were the Giants' “little brother” in their home stadium, which gave him extra motivation heading into Sunday's game.

“It's like a completely different side. We were like a little brother to them, to put it the way I was there. On their side, they won all the trophies and the Super Bowl. We had, but on our side, we were the New York Jets,''' Becton said.
