A whopping more than 7 million viewers tuned in to Fox News Channel to watch the highly anticipated interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.
Wednesday's “Special Report with Bret Baier” was watched by 882,000 people in the 25-54 demographic coveted by advertisers and 7.1 million total viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. It was the most-watched interview of the election season.
The Fox News interview averaged just 5.7 million viewers more than the CBS News primetime special “60 Minutes,” which featured Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. It also topped CNN's joint interview with Harris and Walz, their first as Democratic candidates, which had just 6.3 million viewers.
