New poll results in Ohio's Senate races may have dashed Democrats' hopes of maintaining their tenuous grip on the upper chamber of Congress.

A Morning Consult poll released Thursday found Republican challenger Bernie Moreno leading Democratic incumbent Sen. Sherrod Brown by 1 percentage point.
Moreno's second poll, conducted by Fabrizio Lee, found that the Republican had a three-point lead over Brown, from 47% to 44%. The margin of error for the vote is as follows: 3.1%.

The race is the most expensive congressional race ever, with $483 million already spent. The Republican campaign was strengthened by his support for cryptocurrencies, as a crypto PAC donated $40 million to change ownership of a Senate seat.
