Sinwar’s Death May Be Because Israel Ignored Biden, Harris, But Mossad Would’ve ‘Eventually’ Got Him

On Thursday's broadcast of FOX News Channel's “America Report,” Sen. Chris Coons (D-Delaware), who is also a co-chair of the Harris campaign, said that if Israel had been saved, former Hamas leader Yahya Shinwar responded to the argument that he would still be alive. Heeding calls for a ceasefire by President Joe Biden and 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris, Biden said he stands with Israel and that Mossad will “eventually” kill Sinwar.

Co-host John Roberts said, “You said earlier that Yahya Sinwar was responsible for the murders of Palestinians, and he did so in a variety of ways. He was accused of collaborating with Israel. He became known as the Butcher of Khan Yunis because he took away many accused Palestinians and killed them himself with a machete, making him responsible for the deaths of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza. Many would say that's because he's been using them as human shields. But, senator, in recent months, President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to sign a cease-fire. And obviously there's a lot of suffering in Gaza. There's a lot of suffering going on in Lebanon, and it would be good to end this problem, but it's happening to Israel every day. But if Benjamin Netanyahu had listened to the president and vice president, Shinwar would still be alive instead of dead. ”

“Let me be clear: There is no one who supports Israel and its security more strongly than our president, Joe Biden, who has supported Iran's two failed direct attacks on Israel in recent months,” Coons said. Their missiles, their drones, the hundreds of missiles and drones they launched in recent days and in the spring did not cause any significant damage to Israel, but it does not mean that we should not attack Israel. It shows his insistence on continuing to support him. Frankly, I think Mossad will eventually find and kill Sinwar, no matter where he is or what he's doing. And, John, as you said earlier in this interview, it may have been a lucky moment in combat rather than a targeted attack that killed him, but I think the Israelis ultimately killed him. I think the United States waited until 2011 to finally find and kill Osama bin Laden.”
