President Joe Biden told reporters as Air Force One arrived in Germany on Friday that he spoke to congratulate Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the killing of Hamas leader Yayha Sinwar.
Biden added that now is the time to end the war in Gaza and reach an agreement for a ceasefire and the release of hostages.

I called Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to congratulate him on acquiring Sinwar. He has a lot of American blood, Israeli blood, and other blood on his hands.
And I told him that we are really happy with his actions, and furthermore, that it is time to move forward, to move forward, to move towards a ceasefire in Gaza, to move forward in the direction we are heading. I told them that we will definitely move forward. We are in a position to make the whole world better.
This war is over and it's time to bring the hostages home. So, that's what we're ready for. That's what we're going to be — and I'm going to send Tony Blinken to Israel — and he's probably going to go within five days, four days, four, five days. Anyway, he goes. I talked to Bibi about it.
Biden said he was “satisfied,” but the only reason Israel was able to kill Shinwar was because Netanyahu ignored all demands from Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris regarding Israel's war effort in Gaza. Because I did.
