She insisted that Trump “can never again trust in power” and stressed that “in this election, it is not a desire, but our duty, to put patriotism above partisanship.”

“What January 6th has shown us is that Donald Trump doesn't have an ounce of compassion. He's despicable. He's vindictive. He's cruel. He is unfit to lead a good and great country,” Cheney said.

Harris is also endorsed by more than 200 alumni who served in both Bush administrations and under the late Sens. John McCain and Mitt Romney, both Republican presidential candidates in 2008 and 2012. The Trump campaign objected to the Republican support for Harris.

The Trump campaign said, “For former 'Republicans' of the past to campaign for four more years of unlimited illegal immigration, rising prices, and endless wars under Kamala Harris, to see their final moments in the light. It's very pathetic to see this being dug up because it has nothing to do with it.” Pennsylvania state spokesperson Khush Desai told Fox News.

“Fortunately, like all theatrical props, they will all be thrown aside the moment they cease to be of use to the Democratic Party, the moment President Trump is re-elected by the people of Pennsylvania on November 5th. ”
