MSNBC shows entire panel of Arab-American voters refusing to back Harris: ‘I don’t feel safe right now’

MSNBC aired a panel of Arab American voters declaring their rejection of support for Vice President Kamala Harris, with one saying they would vote for former President Trump instead.

NBC News correspondent Yasmin Vossoin told MSNBC host Katie Tourer how many Arabs are saying that Harris is in line with President Biden on U.S. support for Israel and military action in the Middle East. He talked about how American Americans feel. Vossoian went on to share a conversation he had with Lebanese-American voters in Dearborn, Michigan.

“Who's going to vote for Donald Trump in '24?” a reporter asked the panel, and one young woman raised her hand, and a man answered, “That's possible. It's not going to be Donald Trump. That’s for sure.”

Vososian went on to ask, “Who's voting for Kamala Harris here?” There was no response to that. “Are you absolutely sure?”

“No,” the man answered. “It's impossible.”

“There's nothing she can do or say to change our minds,” the woman replied.

“Who will vote third party in 2024?” Vososian asked further, and three of the four panelists raised their hands.

“So, Jill Stein?” she asked, and the woman nodded affirmatively.

“It's possible that some people will abstain from voting completely,” the man answered. “But we know that's not the best political strategy.”

“Why are you voting for Donald Trump?” Vossoian asked a young woman who said she supported him.

“Because my main goal is to remove from power those who are actively funding genocide,” the young woman responded, later adding that the nature of her vote was “against Kamala Harris.” I admitted something.

“Donald Trump says he's going to reinstate the ban on Muslims entering the country,” Vosoian pressed her.

To this, the young woman replied skeptically, “That's what you said last time, too.''

When asked about President Trump's claim that he wants Netanyahu to “get the job done,” she said that Trump barks more than he bites when it comes to policy, but as a guarantor of security. It emphasized the idea of being superior.

“Donald Trump said a lot of things for the first time that scared me,” the young woman said. “The campaign that the Democrats ran was that Donald Trump hates us. When Trump was president, I felt safe all over the country, but Kamala was president. I don't feel safe right now. That speaks louder.”

One man demurred, saying Trump was “bad news” for the country and that he would not support him in protest voting. Vososian said some people say voting for Jill Stein might be functionally the same as voting for Trump.

“This is a moral decision that I am making and that I cannot support someone who clearly has nefarious intentions.”

A recent survey by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) found that Green Party candidate Jill Stein is gaining support among Muslim voters, leading Harris in the battleground states of Arizona, Michigan and Wisconsin.

“These new findings show that American Muslim voters have the potential to sway outcomes in several key battleground states and that they still have a chance to win in the 2024 election. Robert McCaw, Director of Government Affairs at CAIR, said.

Fox News Digital contacted the Harris campaign but did not immediately receive a response.
