The rally, which included many children dressed up as former presidents and local steelworkers wearing hard hats, seemed optimistic.
President Trump began his nearly two-hour speech by paying tribute to his late friend and PGA golf legend Arnold Palmer.

General steelworkers from Pennsylvania who belong to the Mon Valley Steelworkers Union were welcomed on stage by President Trump and presented with commemorative helmets.
“The president saved the steel industry with tariffs, and he saved you with tariffs,” said one steel worker. “And you're my hero, the greatest president of all time. We love you. That's why Trump's Steelworkers and Mon Valley Steel Works in General wanted to support you. .”
If President Trump wins in November, he plans to implement “Built in America” policies that would bring more manufacturing jobs back to Pennsylvania and the nation as a whole.
