FBI searching for missing Sa’Wade Birdinground, 13, in Montana

The FBI has joined the search for a missing Montana teenager who disappeared from her home two weeks ago, vowing not to rest until answers are found in the teen's disappearance.

Sawadeh Birdinground, 13, a member of the Crow tribe, has not been in contact with family or friends since her disappearance on October 6, the FBI said in a news release Saturday.

“The FBI is working closely with local law enforcement to search for the Wade Birding Round,” said Rhys Williams, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the FBI's Salt Lake City Division. “We are asking for the public's help in finding her and we will not stop until we have answers.”

The Big Horn County Sheriff's Office said in an Oct. 7 news release that Saweid was last seen on the night of Oct. 6 at his home in Garyowen. Sawaid was last seen wearing a black hoodie with cartoon mushrooms on it. T-shirt, basketball trunks, and purple slip-on shoes. She is known to wear a moose tooth necklace and is believed to be carrying a black and purple Adidas backpack.

The family of a missing Virginia antique store owner believes he was murdered after months of no response.
