“Wow, thank you, boss,” said the customer's husband. “They made it possible for ordinary people like us to see you.”

“This is fun. I could do it all day,” Trump said. “I don't mind this job. I like this job. I think I might come back and do it again.”

Trump spoke to reporters outside while working at a drive-thru.

“Look at the crowd over there,” he said, pointing to the supporters lining the street. “Look at how happy everyone is. They're happy because they want hope. They need hope. And that's what we're doing. That's what we're giving. It's much more than what I expected.”

“Look at the enthusiasm,” Trump continued. “I mean, there are thousands of people out there. They go back miles and miles. It's incredible.”

He raised his hand outside the drive-thru window to wave to his supporters, and the crowd responded with a roar.

A reporter began asking President Trump about a past claim that his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, once worked at McDonald's in the 1980s.

President Trump said, “Right now I work at McDonald's.'' “I work 15 minutes more than Kamala. She has never worked here.”

Asked why Harris lied about working at a fast food restaurant, Trump said: “Because she's Kamala the Liar.”

He told reporters that working at McDonald's is “a great job to start with,” noting it requires “a high level of expertise.”
