Hezbollah Has $500 Million in Cash, Gold in Vault Under Hospital in Beirut

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed on Monday that the Iranian-backed terrorist organization Hezbollah had hidden $500 million in cash and gold in a bunker beneath Al Sahel Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon.

“Iran will send suitcases containing cash and gold to the Iranian embassy in Beirut, which will then be sent directly to Hezbollah,” said Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Maj. Gen. Daniel Hagari, adding that the suitcases containing cash and gold are being sent to Hezbollah as well as others in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Turkey. The economic resources of the country were detailed.

Hagari also said that Iran sent funds earned from selling Iranian oil in Syria to Hezbollah. (After being suffocated by sanctions under President Donald Trump, Iran's oil industry has rebounded under the Biden-Harris administration's generous policies and has grown by $200 billion in the past four years, according to a recent U.S. government report.) It is said that he earned a lot of money.)

Hagari described “Hassan Nasrallah's underground bunker,” which he said was “located directly beneath Al-Sahel Hospital in the Dahieh district of central Beirut.” [neighborhood]The bunker contained accommodation and a command center, as well as a safe containing “hundreds of millions of dollars in cash and gold.”

The revelations came after Israel bombed financial institutions linked to Hezbollah overnight from Sunday to Monday.

“Our attacks will reduce Hezbollah's ability to finance attacks against Israelis,” Hagari said.

According to reports, the hospital evacuated Immediately after Hagari reveals the existence of the bunker.

Hagari noted that the Israeli Air Force (IAF) is monitoring the hospital. “But we're not going to attack the hospital itself,” he said.

The IDF attacked other targets connected to Hezbollah's financial infrastructure on Monday night following an evacuation warning.

Hagari explained that Iranian funds were not only used to finance Hezbollah's terrorist activities, but also “threaten Lebanon's economy.” Hezbollah continues to smuggle Iranian funds into Lebanon in dollars, causing the value of the Lebanese pound to fall and worsening Lebanon's economic crisis, he said.

“We are not at war with the Lebanese people. We are at war with Hezbollah,” Hagari concluded, adding that Israel's goal is to ensure that residents of northern Israel can safely return home after a year of Hezbollah attacks. I reiterated that this is what I should do.
