Republican vice presidential candidate and U.S. senator from Ohio, J.D. Vance, has responded to an incident in which two Christian students were mocked by Vice President Kamala Harris during a rally for shouting “Jesus is Lord!”
“I say this as a Christian, someone who was baptized for the first time just a few years ago. Kamala Harris' anti-Christian rhetoric and anti-Christian approach to public policy is truly bizarre. That's the point,” Vance said. said during a rally in Wisconsin.
When he gave his speech, those in attendance shouted, “Jesus is King!” To which Vance replied, “That's right. Jesus is King.”

During last week's campaign rally, Grant Bess and Luke Polaske joined the Harris Waltz rally at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, shouting phrases such as “Jesus is Lord!” Harris spoke about abortion rights.
Democratic presidential candidate Harris paused her speech to answer the students and quipped, “You're at the wrong rally,” to loud applause from the audience.

“I was shoved by an older woman. We were heckled, taunted and laughed at,” Beth said. “Looking back on this event, Jesus was mocked. His disciples were mocked, and that's okay.”
Polaske said he and Beth were about 20 to 30 yards away from Harris and acknowledged that Harris specifically spoke to them.
“She wasn’t talking to us or [that] we left. We weren't kicked out. Well, I can speak for Grant and I,” he said.
“In the video, where Grant is being pushed and shoved, there's about five seconds before she tells us to go to a small gathering in the street. In the video, she's waving. You can see she was actually waving at me,” Polaske added.
In response, he removed his crucifix necklace, held it up in the air, and “pointed” at Harris.
“She saw [me] “I felt like I had a kind of evil grin on my face because I saw it firsthand,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bess warned that tensions against Christians will further rise if Harris becomes president.
“We're going to have a Kamala Harris who will alienate more than 50 percent of the American population who are Christians,” he said, noting that she will not be attending the Al Smith Memorial Dinner, a longtime philanthropic event attended by presidential candidates. referred to and argued for her decision.
Similarly, Polasky on Sunday issued a prediction on social media regarding the “spiritual warfare” surrounding the 2024 election.

Quoting Christ's command for his followers to love their neighbors, Polaske said, “It tells us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us.” “At the name of Jesus, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, because in the end we will prevail.”
