I voted for the first time in my 57 years of life.
Yes, on Friday, I participated in the American political process. I voted for presidential candidate Donald Trump and incumbent Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.).
It took less than 10 minutes. I'm glad I did it.
For years, I have found great satisfaction in not tarnishing my reputation by choosing sides in corrupt political games. I didn't have much respect for Democrats or Republicans. I don't know yet. These political parties strike me as the antagonists of professional wrestling, pitted against each other by a handful of nameless, faceless Vince McMahon-type puppeteers.
Barack Obama struck me as indistinguishable from George W. Bush, just like Bill Clinton and George H.W.
I thought of voting as acknowledging that another man controlled some part of my destiny. I couldn't do that. I didn't.
Democrats like to say “democracy” is what they vote for. I say freedom is in the vote.
Even in 2016, when Donald Trump and the MAGA movement captured my imagination, I abstained. I liked my “brand” as an objective, non-voting journalist. In 2020, I was absent for similar reasons. I didn't want any part of my identity to be tied to politics. I want to be recognized as a Christian, not as a conservative or Republican.
So what has changed? January 6, 2021.
I was outraged by the legacy media's systematic efforts to paint the unarmed protesters at the Capitol as “insurrectionists.” It quickly became clear that this setup was a deliberate ploy to justify the imprisonment of President Trump's most ardent supporters.
I didn't know that day that I would be voting in the next presidential election cycle, but I knew I had to take action to alleviate the suffering of the brave men and women who visited Washington, D.C. The level of frustration I shared.
I voted last week because I want President Trump to pardon these political prisoners. The desire to see these men and women liberated helped me understand the outcome of this election cycle.
Democrats like to say “democracy” is what they vote for. I say freedom is in the vote. Common sense is on the ballot. The U.S. Constitution is on the ballot. The benefit lies in the ballot. Nuclear families are also on the ballot.
Besides J6 prisoners, I voted for Trump because I want America to move away from the ideology of diversity, equity, and inclusion. DEI is the enemy of merit. DEI is a leftist conspiracy to replace fathers and families with symbols.
Democrats think the symbol is more important than the father. Their worldview believes that children need to see black, brown, gay, and women in notable positions, and that this will inspire greatness in the next generation. That's why a so-called black woman who grew up in Canada was chosen to succeed Barack Obama, a half-black man who spent part of his childhood in Indonesia.
Kamala Harris is a symbol of that. She is not a leader. Democrats believe that breaking the “glass ceiling” will develop and inspire young people. I believe that fathers and mothers, grandfathers and grandmothers, uncles and aunts inspire and help children grow.
No symbol required. We need fathers. We don't need more black head coaches in the NFL. We don't need another black White House press secretary. We don't need any more gay transportation secretaries. No more Rachel Levins pretending to be a woman to serve as the U.S. assistant secretary of health. We don't need more men participating in women's sports.
We need more fathers and healthier nuclear families.
We need to end DEI. We need to reject the idea that installing symbols to meet DEI quotas is some kind of progress. it's not. It is a mechanism for a small elite to normalize the installation of unsuitable puppets in influential positions.
Black Americans desperately need the restoration of the nuclear family and patriarchy. Democrats and their puppet Kamala Harris promote the idea that single black women and gay black women can raise and raise children without a father. They point to Barack Obama and NFL quarterback Lamar Jackson as symbols of what matriarchy can produce. Meanwhile, prisons and OnlyFans accounts are crowded with young men and women who have not reconciled their fatherhood issues.
I voted because I want the Trump administration to release January 6th prisoners and abolish DEI.
