Netanyahu’s Bedroom Window Hit by Hezbollah Drone

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's private residence was in fact attacked by a Hezbollah drone last week in an apparent assassination attempt, according to media reports on Tuesday.

As reported by Breitbart News, the drones breached Israeli air defenses and targeted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence. Axios reported The house itself was damaged.

Neither Prime Minister Netanyahu nor his wife Sara were home at the time, and no one was injured. Still, the attack was potentially deadly and could have changed the strategic situation had it succeeded in killing the Israeli leader.

era of israel reported:

A drone launched by Lebanon's Hezbollah crashed into Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's home in Caesarea on Saturday, exploding and damaging the prime minister's residence, military censors authorized the release Tuesday.

Images, previously banned from publication by military censors, showed damage caused to homes by Saturday's drone crash.

The blast cracked the glass in a bedroom window but did not enter the house, apparently thanks to tempered glass and other protective equipment. Broken glass reportedly fell into a nearby family's pool and garden.

Hezbollah reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack during a press conference on Tuesday, which was punctuated by threats of an impending attack by Israel.

As reported by Breitbart News, Prime Minister Netanyahu warned Iran, which controls Hezbollah, that the assassination attempt was a “grave mistake.” The drone strike has fueled speculation that Israel may target Iranian leaders in retaliation for Iran's Oct. 1 ballistic missile attack on Israel.

After the attack, many world leaders, including former President Donald Trump, met with Netanyahu. However, US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris did not do so.
