The Kansas City Chiefs were the last team standing at the end of the past two postseasons.
Although star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs' offense don't look like the high-flying teams of the past, Kansas City has been able to win all six games it has played this season.
The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday, improving their record to 6-0. The Chiefs and Niners met earlier this year in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, and Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce seems interested in a rematch.

Shortly after the Chiefs and Niners' recent matchup in Santa Clara, NFL Films released footage of an interaction between Kelce and San Francisco tight end George Kittle.
“Let's do it again in February, bro,” Kelce said.
Kittle was open to the possibility of a rematch at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans in February 2025.
“Yeah, I know why not,” the five-time Pro Bowler replied.

Kittle then praised Kelce's choice of cleats, saying, “(Jordan) likes it.”
Mahomes overcame two interceptions and made some big plays with his feet to help the Chiefs defeat the 49ers 28-18 in the regular-season Super Bowl rematch.

Mahomes acknowledged that leading the team in the defense and running game is different than what many are used to.
“I don't think what we've seen from us is unusual because we haven't had that many touchdown passes,” Mahomes said after going without a touchdown pass for the second straight game in his career. he said.

Mahomes was also responsible for a noticeable increase in turnovers this season. The three-time Super Bowl MVP has thrown six touchdowns against eight interceptions.
“Especially my turnovers were a lot. I think that just shows the versatility of our team. It's not just about me, it's not about stats or light show or anything like that. It's about playing team football. I believe that if I continue to play and continue to work hard, I will get better at throwing the ball offensively, but until then, it's nice to know that I have a great running game, a great defense. Run every time to win a football game.”
