Missouri Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Lucas Kunce was firing an AR-15 at a campaign event when a television reporter was injured by what appeared to be bullet fragments.

Reporter Ryan Gamboa of KSHB-TV stood there as Kunce bandaged his wounds.
With the election just two weeks away, Mr. Kunce has been highlighting his military service and running ads showing him firing a gun as a way to appeal to voters.
Kunce supports at least one of Washington, D.C. Democrats' centerpiece gun control measures: raising the minimum age to buy a gun. OnTheIssues.org reported “I want to raise the age limit for purchasing guns from 18 to 21.”
