Trump campaign accuses UK’s Labour Party of election ‘interference’

Donald Trump's campaign has condemned “blatant foreign interference” in the US presidential election after volunteers from British Prime Minister Keir Starmer's Labor Party traveled to the US to support Kamala Harris' campaign.

The campaign has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission in Washington, calling for an immediate investigation into “clearly illegal foreign contributions made by the British Labor Party and accepted by Ms. Harris as a presidential candidate.” Ta.

The complaint cites media reports and a now-deleted LinkedIn post by Sofia Patel, head of activities for the British Labor Party, in which she said “nearly 100” current and former Labor Party staff members will be joining the campaign to support the election. Mr Starmer has since sought to build a relationship with Mr Trump, meeting at Trump Tower during a visit to New York in September.

Mr Starmer, who was on a plane to Samoa, told reporters he did not expect the accusations to strain relations with Mr Trump if he won the November 5 election, and said he did not expect the accusations to strain his relationship with Mr Trump. added that he has been to almost every U.S. election.
