Apalachee High School shooting suspect Colt Gray has pleaded not guilty and is currently seeking a jury trial.
The 14-year-old defendant who killed four people and injured nine others in a shooting at a Georgia high school on Sept. 4 is scheduled to appear on Nov. 21, according to court documents filed by his attorney. He also waived his arraignment hearing. .
A Barrow County grand jury indicted Gray last week on 55 charges as an adult, including four counts of murder and 25 counts of aggravated assault at a high school. A grand jury indicted the father, Collin Gray, on 29 charges, including two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of manslaughter. Both men are also charged with multiple counts of child abuse.
Colin Gray, 54, was arrested and charged with allegedly purchasing the firearm used in the shooting and giving it to Colt for Christmas.

The September 4th shooting involved teachers Richard Aspinwall, 39, and Christina Irimy, 53, and students Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, both 14. died. Another teacher and eight more students were injured, seven of them by gunfire.
Georgia is one of 42 states in the nation that imposes criminal liability on parents on behalf of their children.

Collin Gray had not yet entered a plea as of Tuesday and was scheduled for his own arraignment on November 21, according to the Associated Press. Meanwhile, his son is demanding a jury trial. Atlanta News First reported.
Colt Gray is being held at the Gainesville Juvenile Detention Center and Collin Gray is being held at the Barrow County Jail. Neither has asked for bail.

If convicted, Colt Gray could face life in prison without parole or life in prison with the possibility of parole.
