Harris grabs 3-point lead over Trump in Michigan: Poll

Vice President Harris beat former President Trump by 3 points in Michigan, a new battleground state. Quinnipiac University Poll showed.

The poll released Wednesday is a switch from another Quinnipiac poll conducted earlier this month, which found Trump leading Harris by 3 points in Michigan, 50% to 47%. was shown.

The latest poll shows Harris leading Trump among likely voters in the state, 49% to 46%. According to the poll, Green Party candidate Jill Stein and independent candidate Cornel West each received 1% support.

The poll also found that women in the state support Harris 57% to 37%, while men support Trump 56% to 40%.

Michigan voters are more likely to think Trump would do a better job addressing issues such as the economy, immigration and the conflict in the Middle East, the survey found.

On abortion, preserving democracy and crises that put the country at great risk, Michigan voters were likely to support Harris, the poll found.

When asked about honesty, 46% of potential voters in the state said Harris was honest, compared to 48% who said she was not, the poll found. Meanwhile, 39% of voters said Trump was honest, compared to 59% who said he was not.

The survey found that favorability ratings for Ms. Harris were evenly matched, with 48% viewing her both positively and unfavorably. As for Trump, 46% view him favorably, while 52% view him unfavorably.

The poll was conducted between October 17th and 21st among 1,136 likely Michigan voters. The margin of error was 2.9 percentage points.
